I'm a mama first. Then certainly a student of life. And then I have been gifted with the sweetness of this practice. Gratitude for ever and always for the opportunity to have a voice around it and the avenue to share it.
My teaching style has evolved over the years and has been influenced not only by the schools that I have studied under (alignment-based flow, prenatal, kundalini, functional movement) but also by my personal life (ups & downs, birthing babies, injury, etc.). As my body has changed, my spiritual practice grown, trajectory in life shifted - so has my practice, and therefore how I teach.
I teach because I believe the practice of yoga is a huge gift and want to share it. I also teach because it's a way for me to stay present in the studentship of yoga.
I practice yoga because it has proven to be the most efficient way (for me) to connect more fully to my body and my life. Over the years my practice has shifted quite a lot - and has evolved to be this structure in which I approach life.
